Training Institute

A leader in ground breaking programs and best practices, Pacific Clinics most recently has expanded its scientific research in and implementation of new approaches to treatment called “evidence-based practices" (EBP). The Clinics’ unique Training Institute (PCTI) is the vehicle for this and other continuing education – a benefit to our staff as well as a valuable resource to professionals from other agencies.

Nationally recognized experts in behavioral healthcare lead our array of CE courses – required for continued licensure for professionals in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, drug/alcohol counseling and education, psychiatric technology and nursing. All courses are free to Pacific Clinics employees; others pay only a modest fee.

PCTI courses are accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, the California Board of Registered Nurses (BRN), the California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC) and the California Associations for Alcohol/Drug Educators (CAADE)

We design our user-friendly, culturally sensitive and affordable classes in collaboration with universities, the National Institute of Mental Health and other professional and training leaders. Classes are available either at our Pasadena training site or online. We are also adept at producing customized programs for other organizations.
