Mental health offices move to YV

YUCCA VALLEY - In mid-December, Pacific Clinics Twentynine Palms Child and Family Services will move to a new location in Suite H at the Monterey Business Center.

The new facility is on the border of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree.

The Pacific Clinics program serves children, adolescents and families referred by the Morongo Unified School District experiencing difficulty in the home or at school due to severe mental illness.

The Morongo Basin Transit Authority will, with 24 hours notice, arrange door-to-door service to the new location. For details, call (800) 794-6282.

"Additionally, our staff will assist with transportation needs," explained program spokeswoman Claire Karp.

Pacific Clinics, a private non-profit behavioral healthcare agency, provides mental health services to people of all ages in San Bernardino and nearby counties.
