Pacific Clinics presents its first Visionary Leadership Award at the 16th Annual M.I.L.E.S. Conference

This year, Pacific Clinics' presented its first Visionary Leadership Award for Mental Health and Law Enforcement to Chief Ronald C. Banks (ret.). The annual M.I.L.E.S. Conference, held on September 27, 2007, attracted over 330 mental health and law enforcement professionals to hear domestic violence expert David B. Wexler, Ph.D.

Pacific Clinics President and CEO Susan Mandel, Ph.D. announced receipt of a generous grant of $25,000 in support of its Healthy Transitions Program. The Healthy Transitions Program provides street outreach, case management, and mental health and substance abuse treatment to transitional age youth in the San Gabriel Valley.

Pacific Clinics President/CEO Susan Mandel, Ph.D. announced that San Bernardino County Mental Health Commissioner May Farr has joined Pacific Clinics Board of Directors. Ms. Farr has been a strong mental health advocate since the 1990's. She is very active in the NAMI Inland Valley chapter and assisted its start-up in the region.Farr's background as a nurse has proven to be beneficial in her advocacy work.
