Who We Help

Portals treats people of all ages and backgrounds and the success stories are inspiring.

Melody, a consumer at the Mariposa Clubhouse, had a difficult time as a child. She moved from house to house, was abused and had trouble in school. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia and depression.  There were attempts to help, but Melody began abusing drugs and alcohol.  Melody came to Portals determined to turn her life around. With constant hard work and support, she is now pursuing her dream to attend culinary school and work as a cook. Read more Portals consumer stories.
