The Pacific Clinics Pre-doctoral Psychology Internship Program trains interns to develop needed competencies to provide effective mental health services in community-based settings. Field-based training incorporates work with people of all ages, families, and the underserved and multi-cultural populations in a variety of treatment modalities. Many programs are designed to serve the seriously and persistently mentally ill, believing that in serving them, it is possible to facilitate recovery and make a difference in their lives.
APA-accredited since 1988, pre-doctoral interns in the program participate in valuable, diverse and practical learning experiences, guided by seasoned professionals from a broad range of disciplines, and challenged in real-world environments.
Candidates enrolled in Ph.D. or Psy.D. graduate programs, with a strong preference for APA-accredited clinical programs, are invited to apply.
