At Pacific Clinics, licensed psychiatric technician (PT) candidates receive valuable clinical training in a variety of community settings among diverse populations and age groups. In partnership with Mt. San Antonio College, candidates elect rotation through a variety of Pacific Clinics sites leading to their PT degree and licensure.

As an important part of the multi-disciplinary Pacific Clinics mental health services team, PT candidates acquire practical field experience in crisis intervention, mental health medications administration and management, and consumer education. Working under the supervision of highly experienced behavioral health professionals, candidates also participate in counseling and several treatment interventions with individuals and families.
