Co-Occurring Substance Abuse / Mental Illness


Pacific Clinics offers integrated outpatient drug- free treatment and counseling services to adults and youth living in Los Angeles County. Pacific Clinics has certified Chemical Dependency Counselors as well as trained mental health professionals working together under one care plan to serve individuals with substance abuse/mental illness diagnoses.

Prevention services are targeted to youth who might develop addiction to drugs and alcohol, focusing on promoting emotional health and averting substance abuse.  Services for those with substance use disorders include assessment, developing a written treatment plan, and attending individual and group counseling as well as addressing issues such as:

  • Sobriety
  • Harm Reduction
  • Anger Management
  • Coping Skills
  • Relapse Prevention
  • School Performance

Consumers can join support groups that address social and family relationships and skills.  Staff can also assist clients with court and legal issues as needed. Also see Resources.
