What We Do: Services

Transitional Age Youth

On the street and out of options, homeless young people face a cold and dangerous life. Pacific Clinics reaches out these “transitional age youth” (or TAY, ages 16-25), particularly those with mental health and substance abuse problems, and helps them get on a more productive life path.

Full Service Partnerships (FSP)

Through FSP programs funded by the Mental Health Services Act, Pacific Clinics’ multicultural staff provides field-based services and substance abuse/mental health treatment to young adults who are homeless, recently emancipated, recently incarcerated or otherwise at high risk. Other supportive services include housing and vocational services. TAY consumers are also welcome at our MHSA-funded Drop-In Centers.

To be considered for FSP enrollment, or for FSP programs locations, please contact our Call Center counselors: 1-877-PCCARES (1-877-722-2737)

Drop In/Wellness Centers

Programs in LA, San Bernadino, and Ventura engage homeless TAY on the streets, in parks, and at other meeting places. Staff provide food, blankets, emergency housing, referrals and other center at youth friendly drop in centers, and generally do “whatever it takes” to assist these young adults through crisis. Then – after consumers commit to participating in an assessment and treatment plan or intensive case management services – our staff helps them identify their goals and supports their achievement at their own pace.

Hestia House

Named after the goddess of the hearth, Hestia House in Pasadena is a sheltering place from life on the streets. The residents participate in counseling, treatment and education to overcome addiction and mental illness in a new setting where they learn to take responsibility for shaping their futures.
