The normal challenges of the teen and pre-teen years are intensified by drug and alcohol abuse, difficult or disintegrating family situations, peer pressure, and law enforcement encounters. Pacific Clinics works with schools, physicians, and county juvenile courts, probation departments and child and family services agencies in culturally sensitive programs that focus on helping adolescents develop their strengths and realize their potential in setting the course for their futures.
Pacific Clinics is proud to be a Full Service Partnership (FSP) provider serving teens and
transitional age youth ages 16-25. Pacific Clinics
multicultural staff reaches out to ensure access to these recovery-based programs, funded through the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), for unserved, underserved, and inappropriately served consumers. Through outreach and engagement to the homeless, recently emancipated and incarcerated, and other high-risk youth, Pacific Clinics staff provides intensive field-based services and co-occurring treatment to those in greatest need. Other supportive services include housing and vocational services. With FSP funding, these targeted services for young people are provided in a welcoming setting for teens and TAY at Wellness or Drop-In Centers in many of counties that Pacific Clinics serves.

Juvenile Court Program
An intensive yearlong program in Ventura County requires voluntary participation from program participants in meeting specific milestones. A multi-disciplinary team of judge, public defender, probation officer, district attorney, therapist, and care manager meet weekly to assess the individual progress of participants toward returning to school and avoiding further law enforcement violation. Individual therapy and counseling that include family participation assists teens and young adults in developing self- awareness and social skills to aid their return to school or work.
