Pacific Clinics hosts or co-sponsors several unique educational and networking conferences:

Spirituality and Mental Health Conference

Spirituality, faith and hope can be powerful, yet often overlooked, contributors to mental health recovery. Diverse spiritual, medical and mental health professionals have gathered three times over the past 10 years for this landmark conference to develop professional skills in using spiritual beliefs and religious traditions to advance both physical and mental health.

Latino Mental Health Conference

Held each spring, this APA-approved conference offers CE credits and dynamic presentations on Latino issues and from leading experts to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals, paraprofessionals, consumers/ families, students and others involved in providing behavioral health services to Latinos.

 

Mental Illness and Law Enforcement (M.I.L.E.S.) Conference

Sponsored by Pacific Clinics, this annual fall conference brings together behavioral healthcare professionals, law enforcement personnel, consumers and advocates to improve community communication, collaboration and education. The Extra M.I.L.E.(s) Recognition Awards honor those who go beyond the call of duty to improve services to people and families living with mental illness. The conference features nationally recognized experts and is designed in partnership with the San Gabriel Valley Police Chiefs’ Association, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and other mental health and law enforcement agencies.
