Pacific Clinics recently held its annual fundraiser, Pacific Clinics Annual Celebration: Taste of Hollywood, which raised more than $440,000.

During the event, which took place at the historic Hollygrove campus in Los Angeles, more than 200 guests were treated to culinary creations from some of LA’s finest celebrity chefs, hailing from restaurants including Connie & Ted’s, Momed, Border Grill, Antico, BADMAASH, Phorage, Maple Block, Jaybird, Salt & Straw, and Shake Shack. Attendees also enjoyed a cocktail reception and awards recognition, as well as live and silent auctions with more than 50 items ranging from travel experiences, client artwork, restaurant gift certificates and more. In addition, Pacific Clinics employees representing our Housing program, suite of Hollygrove programs, Employment services, Asian Pacific Family Centers (APFC), TAY Tunnel and La Via Wellness and Recovery were in attendance to share more about their programs and their community impact.

This year’s Norma Jean Award recipient was Hollywood Food Coalition, a community partner of our Hollygrove programs since 2021 who has tirelessly ensured that no Pacific Clinics client goes hungry. Their dedicated team of volunteers and employees work together to deliver fresh and healthy meals to our families facing food insecurity.

We also recognized Houlihan Lokey, a large investment bank, with the Leadership Award. A pillar in the community, Houlihan Lokey is committed to ensuring that our clients have access to academic support and mental health services, regardless of income.

Comedian Billy Harris served as the master of ceremonies and auctioneer, while Ike Barinholtz, comedian, actor, writer, producer and director, presented the Leadership Award.

Each year, Pacific Clinics helps more than 16,000 children, adults and families in the Los Angeles / South Coast Regions, many of whom continue to struggle with increased mental and behavioral health challenges, food and housing insecurity and untreated trauma. Funds raised at this event will support our Housing program, as well as our suite of Hollygrove programs, which strengthen both children and their parents by enriching knowledge, supporting skill development and helping to build emotional bonds that last a lifetime.

A special thanks to the title sponsor, Blue Shield of California, as well as our presenting sponsor, Houlihan Lokey, and the Westside Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) for representing our Camp Hollygrove program at the event. Pacific Clinics is also grateful for the Board of Directors, Board of Governors and the Gala Committee, and, as always, our generous sponsors, donors and event attendees for making this night a night to remember.
