Josué E. Hernández
Josué E. Hernández is joining the Associate Board at Pacific Clinics with more than 15 years in sales, development, and fundraising experience. He is thrilled to be part of the founding associate board at Pacific Clinics and support its mission to build on people’s strengths and support our diverse communities in Southern California.
Josué feels personally connected to the mission at Pacific Clinics and the communities they serve. Josué agrees he would have benefited greatly from the services Pacific Clinics offers while growing up. He faced hardship as Latino gay man dealing with bullying in school, rejection from his childhood church congregation for his sexual orientation, and dealing with his HIV status, to mention a few. He decided to get involved after learning about the valuable services that Pacific Clinics offers to our community in need so individuals and families can reach the highest level of functioning and the best quality of life possible for them.
Josué graduated magna cum laude with his bachelor of science from Notre Dame de Namur University and a master of arts at Saint Mary’s College of California. He currently lives in Long Beach with his long-term partner, two Scottish Fold cats (Maxie and Carlota), and his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Auggie).
