Daniel Sarkis

Chair

Daniel Sarkis was born and raised in Pasadena where he has volunteered and partnered with local non-profits for over 15 years. His efforts initially began at Ability First, where his close relative with down syndrome attended, eventually expanding to other organizations such as Union Station Homeless Services, LA Food Bank and internationally into Mexico and Sierra Leone.

Daniel received his undergrad in Biology at UC Riverside followed by an MBA in Leadership and Operations. This combination led him to work at Mercer, a Human Resource consulting firm working with organizations on their employees’ health and welfare programs. In addition, he holds several internal roles including being part of the MercerCares Steering committee where he is responsible for coordinating corporate volunteer efforts across Southern California.

Outside of his day to day responsibilities, Daniel loves to travel and hopes to hit 40 countries by 40.
