The Nonprofit Times article, “Mental Health Providers Merger of Equals,” discusses the joining of two mental health providers in California, Pacific Clinics and Uplift Family Services.
As a merged agency, it will operate under the name Pacific Clinics and serve the entire state of California with a full range of mental health and behavioral health programs, as well as social services and foster care and adoptions, housing and early childhood education.
CEO/President Kathy McCarthy is quoted as saying, “This merger will broaden Pacific Clinics’ reach throughout California at a moment when mental and behavioral health needs have never been more acute and widespread,” McCarthy said in a statement.”
