How Your Gift Makes an Impact
You may designate whether your gift supports Pacific Clinics’ General Fund, the CARE Fund or Housing Services.
Pacific Clinics General Fund
By giving to the General Fund, your gift goes towards supporting all our programs and services including mental health treatment, training for other mental health professionals, supportive services to the individuals and families we service, and more.
We Care Fund
Pacific Clinics established the Consumer Activities and Resources for Emergency (CARE) Fund to provide emergency financial resources for educational and socialization programs, and other program needs for the low-income and homeless adults and children in our care. The CARE Fund also provides financial support in case of unforeseen or extraordinary life events. This can include-
- Funeral expenses
- Beds for a formerly homeless family getting a new apartment
- Eyeglasses
- Relocation expenses for an unemployed consumer whose medical condition necessitated an immediate move
- Tutoring
Housing Services
Pacific Clinics’ Housing Services Department helps the homeless individuals and families we serve secure a safe place to live and rebuild their lives by providing emergency, transitional and permanent supportive housing.
Permanent housing is provided through HUD Homeless Section 8 and Shelter Plus Care programs.
Our Housing Services Department currently manages all transitional housing through leases at properties in the community for foster care transitional age youth and adults. We also collaborate with motels, property management companies and private landlords for additional housing needs.
Once they are approved for housing, some consumers require further assistance, including making their security deposits or obtaining household items to ease their transition to a new life. We provide that monetary assistance, as well as money management and vocational services designed to help them develop the skills and strengths essential to achieve their personal goals.
