For Deondri, the road to recovery started with a chance meeting on the bus with someone whose life had been transformed by Pacific Clinics. After that fateful encounter, he decided it was time to get help.
Chris grew up in an abusive household. At age 16, he ended up walking to another city to go be with his grandmother. After she then passed away tragically, Chris has found family, home and purpose through the Pacific Clinics Crossroads Transitional Housing Program.
We’ve always had an open home and open door for everyone who needed help,” says Juana. “This is where our calling is. This is what we were supposed to do.
Ty, a young adult who identifies as nonbinary and transgender, lost their mom at a young age. While home life was uncertain with their dad, who couldn’t fully accept that Ty wouldn’t be keeping their birth name, Ty found Pacific Clinics’ Hope Drop-In Center.
