On Saturday, May 14, more than 100 guests gathered at the historic Hollygrove campus for Pacific Clinics’ annual movie night under the stars, with the event raising more than $15,000 for our Los Angeles-based Hollygrove programs.

To kick off the evening, guests were treated to pre-movie games on the field by the AMAZING KID COMPANY, face-painting courtesy of Young Variety and food from Watts Waffles and Tacos Iguala. There was also an opportunity drawing for fun prizes ranging from Los Angeles Dodgers versus San Francisco Giants baseball tickets to Trader Joe’s gift bags, model planes and more. Then, after settling onto the large, grassy field with pillows and blankets, some popcorn, candy and soft drinks, families enjoyed a showing of the Academy Award-winning film, “Encanto”.

The families who participate in our Hollygrove programs were in attendance, in addition to long-time supporter, partner and actor Ike Barinholtz, who got the crowd ready for the movie with a bit of humor and gratitude for all those who have supported Pacific Clinics.

A big thank you goes to our amazing sponsors – Eric Anderson and Jeet Sohal, Leo Edit, Peter and Concetta Brown, Jana Turner, Jim Balla, Ike Barinholtz and Erica Hanson, and Roni Maybin, as well as our volunteers from Young Variety, members of Pacific Clinics’ Los Angeles Board of Governors and many more – we could not do this without your commitment and generosity to making this a fun, festive and safe event.
