Attendees at CBT’s 20th Annual Charity Golf Classic enjoyed a beautiful day for a great cause, raising a record-breaking $43,000 and counting for Pacific Clinics’ privately-funded Hollygrove programs, which provide mental health and academic resources to vulnerable children in Los Angeles County.
This year’s event, which took place at the highly coveted Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Beach, brought the return of an exciting round of golf, followed by the popular post-golf dinner and award reception, with opportunities to win a bevy of delightful raffle prizes. Particularly meaningful was the generous donation by CBT’s own Senior Vice President of Engineering Services Stan Galanski, who donated 30 raffle tickets to Pacific Clinics and helped us win a 50″ television, which will be given to a Hollygrove programs family who is working hard to get back on their feet.
CBT CEO and Pacific Clinics’ Board of Governors Member Kelly Ireland, along with her incredible team at CBT, have been generously hosting CBT’s Annual Charity Golf Classic since its inception. Over the past two decades, they have raised more than $500,000 for Pacific Clinics’ Hollygrove Haven, Camp Hollygrove and Parent Institute programs, which bridge the academic divide that continues to plague children from low-income families. These innovative services extend the reach of our publicly funded programs, seek to address the needs of the family before problems take hold, and are offered at no charge.
Each year, 100% of proceeds from the event go directly to help these children in need.
“We are so grateful for the long-term partnership and support from CBT, who has given communities access to much-needed support and education,” said Los Angeles Regional Associate Director of Hollygrove Programs Felicia Flores. “From the bottom of our hearts, a big warm thank you!”
