“At Pacific Clinics, we understand that to treat someone with mental illness, it is necessary to address all the areas that affect the whole person. Our integrated, multicultural care offers hope to families and individuals.” – Shawn Caracoza, Executive Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer

Pacific Clinics focuses on providing whole-person care through culturally and linguistically appropriate integrated mental health, substance use treatment, and physical health care that addresses the complex needs of our clients.

Our highly trained and dedicated staff provide a continuum of care that includes prevention and early intervention; treatment of chronic, severe mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorder treatment; and supportive services to maintain wellness and recovery.

Our evidence-based practices—programs that have been rigorously researched and are grounded in science—ensure that we offer the highest quality of care to clients.

We use a strengths-based approach to co-create our treatment plans with clients, and engage their family, community, and other support networks in their treatment and recovery.

As one of the longest operating behavioral health service providers in the area, we have cultivated strategic partnerships and collaborations to provide the strongest possible service referral network for our clients, opportunities for graduate students and nurses to gain real-world experience in a community-based setting, and to advance public policy that improves the lives of people living with mental illness.

Our commitment to continuous improvement takes many forms. We offer electronic health records and a patient portal so clients can get real-time access to their care and progress. We operate a Quality Assurance Board (QAB) made up entirely of clients to provide feedback on our programs. And we invest heavily in evaluating our program outcomes so we can make data-driven decisions.

Mental illness impacts individuals across culture, gender, age, and economic status. As we have for over 95 years, Pacific Clinics will continue to innovate, adapt and improve our programs and services to meet the emerging needs of the diverse communities we serve. We will continue to provide life-saving and life-changing services to clients and empower them on their journey to recovery and wellness.
