Homelessness is a crisis in the United States, and Herman was one of many suffering from its effects. When he came to the Pacific Clinics housing department for assistance, he was uncertain of what would happen next. However, the department was able to locate a brand new apartment and sign a lease for Herman, and through his own hard work as well as routine meetings with a department representative, Herman now has a place he can call home. Darius was never a normal kid; he never spoke to word to anyone, not even to his own mother, Maryam. When Darius came to Pacific Clinics for autism testing, though, they realized that there were a number of other challenges that needed to be addressed. The Pacific Clinics neurodivergent treatment program helped both Darius and Maryam learn to navigate around Darius’ challenges, and now Darius is as lively and talkative as any other young boy.
