Specialized, short-term intensive support in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties through Inland Regional Center and the Self-Determination Program for people with developmental disabilities experiencing a behavioral or mental health crisis.
For individuals with developmental disabilities and complex support needs, finding the right help during a crisis can be extremely difficult. Pacific Clinics provides specialized crisis stabilization services for those whose needs may not have been adequately addressed through traditional services or who have experienced ongoing challenges maintaining services with other providers.
Our person-centered approach brings together clinical, behavioral, case management and caregiver support to help individuals and families navigate a crisis at home. Whenever possible, we help those in crisis remain safely connected to the environments, relationships and communities that are meaningful to them.
A crisis can occur when a person does not have the resources needed to manage stressful situations. Neurodevelopmental crisis stabilization services provide short-term, intensive support to help developmentally disabled individuals and their families/caregivers understand what is contributing to a crisis, access necessary help and develop strategies to promote safety and stability.
Our team works alongside the individual, caregivers and their support network to address immediate needs while identifying resources and supports that can help reduce the likelihood of future crises.
Our goal is not simply to respond to a crisis, but to help create a sustainable path forward.
