Support Services

Support Services offer various programs to address social determinants of health, including housing and employment coaching and placement, among other critically needed services.

John Drebinger III serves as chief public policy officer, leading the organization’s public policy and systems change strategy to improve access to behavioral health services and strengthen communities across California. Before joining Pacific Clinics, John held several senior-level roles at the Steinberg Institute and the California Behavioral Health Association, shaping public policy and government affairs strategy while advancing organizational growth and innovation.

He has also advised organizations including the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, UCLA Health, and UCSF Health and convened government, community, and philanthropic leaders to advance shared policy priorities.

Beyond his professional work, John serves as board chair of Fostering Media Connections and has volunteered as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA), supporting children and families navigating the child welfare system.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Biola University.
