Mae Sampani is the executive director of Pacific Clinics’ crisis services. This statewide role will focus on leading crisis programs across the Bay Area and Capital regions while supporting growth statewide. Her expertise in crisis services is extensive, and since joining the agency in 2013, she has designed and implemented agencywide initiatives, annual priorities and continuous quality improvement efforts that allow youth and families to receive the most effective, efficient and culturally appropriate services. She has previously supported efforts such as launching a youth crisis program to ensure a 30-minute on-site response time for youth arriving at shelter alternatives.
Sampani also serves as a founder and board member at Restore Children and Family, a Philippines-based operation that serves survivors of sex trafficking, online sex trafficking of children and other forms of sexual abuse. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with two master’s degrees in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University and National University.
