For 30 years, Pacific Clinics’ Consumer Quality Assurance Board (CQAB) has created a space for clients in the Los Angeles and South Coast regions to advocate for themselves and others and help shape the services they receive.
Founded in 1996 as a grassroots effort centered on self-empowerment, leadership and service, CQAB serves as a liaison between clients at individual program sites and Pacific Clinics leadership. Members set their own agenda, raising challenges clients may be experiencing at their sites, highlighting successes and discussing upcoming events and other issues important to the people they represent.
Members also receive updates about developments across Pacific Clinics that may affect them, including program and organizational changes and new laws affecting services. The exchange gives clients a direct way to share their experiences and perspectives while staying connected to decisions and developments across the agency.
This year, CQAB members and Pacific Clinics employees from across the Los Angeles and South Coast regions gathered in Pasadena for the 2026 Officer Installation Luncheon. The event drew its largest turnout to date and offered an opportunity to celebrate CQAB’s three-decade legacy while welcoming its newest leaders.
Throughout the luncheon, members shared stories of overcoming challenges and reaching personal milestones. Raffles and prizes added to the celebration before the event concluded with the swearing-in of the 2026-2027 CQAB Executive Board.
