Support Services

Support Services offer various programs to address social determinants of health, including housing and employment coaching and placement, among other critically needed services.

On June 17, 2021, the California Council of Community Behavioral Health Agencies (CBHA), the California Coalition for Youth (CCY) and the California Youth Empowerment Network (CA-YEN) hosted the “PRIDE In Our Youth: Uplifting Diverse Voices” event. Associate Divisional Director Joana Garcia participated on a panel where she discussed the importance of providing inclusive and affirming care to those who identify as LGBTQ+ and addressing barriers the care. Additional speakers included community leaders, Assemblymember Alex Lee and keynote Dr. Joshua Moon to share their lived experiences, provide community resources and celebrate PRIDE Month 2021.
