Educational Programs
Educational Programs provide students with the skills they need to live successful lives. Our robust programs include early childhood development, classroom consultations in partnership with school districts, adult continuing education programs and parent workshops.
Support Services

Support Services offer various programs to address social determinants of health, including housing and employment coaching and placement, among other critically needed services.

The kids served by EMQ FamiliesFirst are well prepared to start the school year with the help of generous supporters and volunteers. This year, 750 backpacks – the most ever distributed – were assembled at the back to school drive.

Special thanks to Cindy Method and Jimmy Zien of the Campbell Rotary who helped coordinate the purchase and assembly of 400 backpacks and to all the members of the Rotary who volunteered their time. A big thanks also goes to The Home Church in Campbell for donating space for the backpack assembly. Other Bay Area donors include Elaine Herzig and friends, Almaden Super Lions and Family Giving Tree.

“Elaine, Family Giving Tree, Almaden Super Lions, and especially the Campbell Rotarians did a tremendous job, and we are so grateful for their support over the years.  These backpacks are going to make such a huge difference in the lives of hundreds of children in our communities,” said Darren DeMonsi, associate director of fund development for EMQ FamiliesFirst. Thanks to all our donors for preparing Bay Area students for the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
