Finding the right job can be challenging, but on March 25 at Pacific Clinics’ Via Wellness and Recovery Center in South Pasadena, nearly 100 job seekers had the chance to explore new opportunities and receive guidance at Pacific Clinics’ career and resource fair. Hosted by our Employment Services team, with 19 vendors and potential employers in attendance, the event provided a vital bridge between job seekers and businesses eager to train and hire.

The participating employers represented a range of industries, from health care to retail, ensuring attendees had access to diverse career pathways.

During the event, job seekers had the opportunity to meet recruiters, learn about open positions and participate in resume-writing workshops and mock interviews, making it a practical and results-driven experience.

For many, the fair was more than just a job search; it was a moment of empowerment. One participant shared, “I left feeling hopeful and motivated. Speaking with employers and meeting with the Pacific Clinics team made the biggest difference in my confidence.”

At Pacific Clinics, our Employment Services help eliminate barriers to securing a job, such as transportation, housing, mental health challenges and social skills. Our clients receive the support they need to learn essential workplace skills, build confidence and land a stable job.

“We work at our clients’ pace, helping them achieve their goals,” said Mark Morales, program manager of employment services at Pacific Clinics. “Events like these serve as a no-pressure glimpse into our services and align with our mission to support individuals in achieving stability and success and improving mental health.”

Connecting job seekers with employers facilitates employment and fosters long-term community wellness.
