Educational Programs

Educational Programs provide students with the skills they need to live successful lives. Our robust programs include early childhood development, classroom consultations in partnership with school districts, adult continuing education programs and parent workshops.

Support Services

Support Services offer various programs to address social determinants of health, including housing and employment coaching and placement, among other critically needed services.

Navigating mental health challenges can feel overwhelming for young people and their families alike. Pacific Clinics’ Santa Cruz County-based Intensive Outpatient Services offers compassionate, community-based support to children, youth and young adults ages 0–20.

The program serves individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma and defiant or disruptive behaviors such as difficulty following rules or challenges at school. Our dedicated team provides these services at home, school or other community spaces in order to help clients feel more comfortable and supported while working toward their treatment goals. In addition, each individual receives a personalized treatment plan designed to restore day-to-day functioning, strengthen emotional health and achieve developmental goals. Plans are customized to reflect each individual and family’s unique needs, ensuring care is respectful, inclusive and effective.

“Our goal is to support our clients and their families through understanding their perspective,” says Clinical Program Manager Anjelica Casey. “We provide care in familiar environments and tailor treatment to everyone’s values, strengths, culture and readiness for change. We help build trust, strengthen resilience, and support lasting results so our families can feel hope again.”

Treatment plans may include a variety of supports based on assessments and individual goals, such as individual therapy, family therapy, social skills development, coaching on healthy coping strategies, peer support for parents, assistance connecting to community resources such as eating disorder treatment and housing navigation, psychiatric medication management, psychoeducation, case management, crisis intervention and risk assessment and management.
