In the Netsmart CareThreads podcast, Pacific Clinics’ Senior Vice President of Strategy, Innovation and Growth Eleanor Castillo-Sumi, Ph.D., talks about Pacific Clinic’s evolution since its inception 155 years ago. Castillo-Sumi says to innovate successfully, health care organizations must ask how they can do things differently as an organization and be willing to take risks. She also asserts that leveraging the right technology and finding people and partners who are passionate and willing to fail are paramount, as is creating a culture of trust and transparency. “I would say the most critical component is [finding] who in our space would want to do this with us [and] want to put everything on the line to be able to innovate.”
