Pacific Clinics employees and important community partners came together to celebrate the grand opening of Pacific Clinics’ Hollister office, housing the San Benito County Community Mobile Crisis Response Team, with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
During the event, Pacific Clinics’ Senior Vice President of Emerging and Statewide Services Jacquelyn H. Torres, Executive Director of Crisis Services Mae Sampani and Behavioral Health Director Dana Edgull shared more about the Mobile Crisis Response Team. Attendees were also treated to tacos from a local truck and given office tours, where Pacific Clinics employees showed off our call tracker board and shared data outcomes, demonstrating the program’s impact on the community and successes since launching in April of this year.
Community partners in attendance included Sheriff-Coroner of San Benito County Eric Taylor, as well as Chief Probation Officer Ashlyn Canez, Hazel Hawkins Hospital’s Director Shonna Avant, Deputy Director Mariana Pereyra-Pitts, Board of Supervisors Member Mindy Sotelo, Behavioral Health Board Member Bob Tiffany and Director of Health and Human Services Tracey Belton.
“The attendance at this event was a meaningful reminder of the shared commitment we all have to the well-being of our community,” said Crisis Clinical Director Laura Plottier-Ramirez. “We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated partners and look forward to continuing to build a responsive, compassionate and impactful service together.”
The Mobile Crisis Response Team is available to help residents of all ages in San Benito County with crisis management and de-escalation services.
